“Criação Teatral Volkswagen” (Theatrical Creation Volkswagen) boosted the Brazilian artistic scene, giving the opportunity to new talents of the national theater to discover, encourage, improve and to help in their qualifications.

With an innovative concept, the project created opportunities for independent actors and actresses to present their talent to the biggest names in Brazilian theater.

The contest was a success and was attended by artists from all Brazilian states, with more than 900 groups attending the event. In the classification stage, a classic theater text was adapted by the artistic coordinator of the project, Antônio Abujamra, and all participants were challenged to interpret the theme with the same resources.
